Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had a busy week at Blanche Nevile School………
Andrew Stibbs - A Deaf Olympiad and the first person ever to qualify as a Deaf Snowboarding Instructor visited us for our assembly on Thursday. He showed us pictures of the Deaflympics in Sweden and also brought along his very expensive board, helmet, goggles and boots. Everyone enjoyed the presentation and are all keen to try snowboarding!

Some of our Key Stage 3 students have been lucky enough to visit the new Tecxitement Centre at Heartlands Secondary School in Haringey. They used iPads and other exciting new technology to create storyboards. More students will get the opportunity to visit the centre later this term.

The Key Stage 4 Home Cooking Skills group had a great session with Mrs Nyein (Thu Thu’s Mum) who came in to show us how to make Burmese stir-fry noodles. Mmmmm-mmm! They were delicious! Thank you so much Mrs Nyein! Any other parents interested in sharing their cooking skills please contact Miss Beavis.
